The Show Must Go On P1

(3rd POV)

*With Vox*

"Oh! Nifty, nice side swipe. Pentious like to see that effort." Charlie called happily. "Teamwork makes the dreamwork." replied the snake." "Train, train, train." Niffty said excitedly. The camera zoomed out to reveal the TV Overlord watching the hotel members training. 

"No fucking way! They're going to fight? Oh, my God." Vox cackled before mocking the princess on screen. "Oh, looks like your little hotel didn't work out so well. Oh Alastor, I cannot wait to watch you get FUCKED!" 

*Back at the hotel*

"Oh, I wish my mom was here to see this." Charlie sighed to Vaggie. "Well, the cannibals seem ready to fight, are we?" "Fear not damsels! I shall have the staff ready for victorious combat!" Pentious called, dressed as a war captain. 

"What in the hell are you supposed to be?" Vaggie asked. "General Pentious, reporting for duty. I'll turn those rapscallions into soldiers in no time at all." 

"Thank you, Pen." Charlie smiled as Vaggie face palmed. "What can I do to help?" Niffty asked, holding dead bugs in her hands. "I'm glad you asked, soldier. The base needs fortifications. Reinforce the southern wall. Create a moat around the perimeter to stop a ground assult." Pentious ordered loudly.

Niffty blinked at him blankly. 

"Here, Nif." (Y/N) chuckled, kneeling to Niffty's height and handing her an angelic knife. "If you see an angel, stab it." "Ooh.."The little cyclops giggled at the knife before spotting Angel who was talking to Cherri a few feet away. "Stab! Stab! Stab!" 

"Hey,hey,hey,hey!" Angel climbed high onto the pole next to him as Cherri ran off. "Not him!" (Y/N) cried, blocking Niffty, wings widespread to hide Angel from her view. 

Niffty glared slightly before giggling and running off. 

"She's gone, tesoro. You can come down now." (Y/N) watched in amusement as Angel tapped into his stripper past and got off the pole, back flipping into his arms. "Thanks, babe." Angel kissed (Y/N)'s cheek as he got down before they walked over to the rest of the group.

"Listen up, sinners! We got 24 hours before the extermination begins. Let's get to work." Vaggie said in her drill Sargent voice.

*Back with Vox*

"Oh, they suck. They're--they're gonna die." He laughed, watching as Vaggie teach where to strike the angels, Pentious building something, and (Y/N) using his magic to summon his own warriors and weapons. 

*At the hotel*

Charlie borrowed Alastor's staff, tapping it slightly so everyone could hear her. "Hello, I want to thank everyone for coming. Even people who aren't staying here yet...Cherri." Charlie smiled playfully at the pink haired cyclops. 

"Look, I can't resist a fight, okay? Especially when I get to tag team with this fuckhead." Cherri grinned pulling Angel down to share matching grins.

"Tomorrow, the exorcist angels will face a Hell ready to defend itself and win. " Charlie fist pumped the air. 

"Yeah! Yeah, we will! Tell 'em, baby!" Vaggie cheered loudly for her girlfriend. 'Yes. And we are--we are going to win! But in case we don't,  I want you all to know...that getting to know you has been the biggest honor of my life. Whatever redemption really means,  I know you all tried." 

Charlie looked out onto the crowd, looking proudly at her family who sent her proud looks back. "I have seen the good in all of you. And it's, I just...I love you all so much and--and live tonight however you want because--" "We're all going to die! Hahahaha!" Niffy announced loudly. 

Everyone stared at her, feeling very awkward.

"All right! Let's give it up for not dying! Love not dying!" Vaggie cheered, before realizing the mood was killed. "Drinks?" 

*Inside the hotel*

"I mean, personally, I'm excited. It's been a long time since I stabbed anyone and meant it, know what I mean?" Vaggie said to Charlie who looked mildly concerned. 

"Cheers, bitches!" Cherri exclaimed, clinking her glass against Angel, Husk and (Y/N)'s, who all grinned back. "Here's to us!" Angel smiled. "Here's to being alive today and not dying tomorrow." Sir Pentious said loudly, everyone cheering him on. 

On the balcony, Alastor watched them with a fond smile. "Ah, the celebratory night before a courageous last stand. It's been a surprising thrill to witness these wayward souls find connection. Almost makes one sentimental, eh Niffty?" 

Niffty was sitting on the railing next to him. "I really like them, Alastor. They let me put on roach puppet shows without booing!" 

"Ahh, an enjoyable collective to be around. I admit one could get accustomed."

Niffty placed a roach crown on Alastor's head. "I dub thee King Roach." 

"Oh, to understand your twisted little mind."  The two began to laugh manically.

*With Angel, (Y/N) and Husk*

"Last day of afterlife, and you're not off snorting a line off some hunk's abs?" Husk asked the spider. 

"Ehh, you fucked one cannibal pool boy, you fucked 'em all. 'Sides, I got my hunk right here." Angel shrugged before hanging two of his arms around (Y/N) who smiled back. "I guess you have changed." Husk smiled. 

"Hey, Charlie said live tonight however we wanted, so pour me a fresh one, and let's get to living!" Angel exclaimed, holding out his glass. Husk smirked before moving to make the two another drink.

Angel smiled down at (Y/N) who cuddled closer, wrapping his arms around 

*With Sir Pentious*

"Miss Bomb? Cherri?" He asked, taking his hat off. Vaggie pat his shoulder in silent support. 

"Yeah?"

"I want to tell you....that I...love..I'd love to wish you good luck in the battle ahead." He held his hand out for Cherri to shake, which she did, eyeing him weirdly. 

"Okay?"

"You are....Have always been a worthy opponent. With the most brillant explosive contraptions I've ever seen." Pentious blushed. 

"Uh....thanks?" Cherri smiled, sharing a soft moment with him. 

"Please don't die tomorrow. Okay! Bye!" The flustered snake talked loudly before disappearing. 

(Y/N) and Angel appeared on either of Cherri's side. 

(Y/N) with a strawberry Daiquiri in his left right hand, Angel holding two shots in his right hands,  offering one out to Cherri. 

"Ya know, you could totally tap that." Angel smirked, clinking his glass against Cherri's.

"Tss, don't be gross." Cherri rolled her eye. 

"Cuz, you know, I hear he's got two dicks." (Y/N) muttered, tail lazily waving behind him. "Huh!" Cherri hummed, eye narrowed in thought. 

*With Charlie*

Charlie stood in front of her brother and Angel's door, looking at the photos and the LED lights the spider had strung up. There were photos of the Angel and (Y/N) doing a heart with their hands into the camera, a selfie of Charlie and Angel, a selfie of Husk and Angel in tuxedis with the caption, 'Tux Boys', and a picture of Fat Nuggets and Rocco.

Sobs escaped her throat as she started to feel her feelings. "Charlie?" Vaggie called softly. 

"Um, I'm sorry. I'm just so scared." Charlie wiped her tears and hugged herself closer. "What if we lose?" 

*With (Y/N)*

(Y/N) hummed softly as he laid in Angel's lap, three of Angel's hands playing with his hair, as his one free hand scrolled through a bridal website. "How about this one?"

"Uh-uh. Too poofy, next."

"Neck ruffles? What is this? The 16th century? Burn it like the witches who wore it!" (Y/N) rolled his eyes, making Angel giggle. (Y/N) stared up at the spider, smiling to himself. Angel noticed him staring and put his phone down, nuzzling the prince. 

"What are you thinking about?" (Y/N) waved his hand, and suddenly they were on the roof, and sitting under a (f/c) light show with a romantic picnic. "I figured we could end the night with a romantic surprise."

Together the couple laid together in their swinging bed, watching the stars floating on their ceiling, (Y/N)'s wings protectively wrapped around Angel.  

"I love you, Anthony." 

"I love you, (Y/N)."

*The Next Day, in Heaven*

"Extermination Day is here, bitches!"

game night!!! where jj and audrey either team up against everyone else, or they’re total enemies the whole game

accusing each other of cheating if they’re winning (they probably are, even if just a little), and both getting super cocky when they’re the ones winning

if they team up they’re INSUFFERABLE, like playing card games and the other just shouts out what someone has, helping each other win and everyone is so pissed off

and any kind of actual team game (volleyball, football/soccer etc) if they’re on opposite teams they’re getting SO competitive you love to see it

i need this so desperately, give them a filler beach episode/game night 🙏🙏

YES! We need both. Like a beach day to start, heavy flirting and teasing from these two, the Pogues playing boys vs girls in a game of Volleyball where the trash talk is just flowing.

Followed by a wonderful game night under the stars, Cleo makes her (growingly infamous) hard punch and JJ rolls a few, sharing amongst the crew. He and Audrey start out on the same team, until John B declares they’re cheating and then separates them the rest of the night.

The competitiveness only grows worse from there, and before they know it John B’s cheating proclamation has started the ultimate foreplay for our leading couple.

I HAVE to write this now! We shall see this FOR SURE. Hahahaha

Tag (Final Rose)

“Hahahaha!” Ruby cackled maniacally as she jabbed one finger at her teammates. “You have no hope of defeating me, for I am Ruby... Queen of Tag Town!”

Weiss looked at Yang. “You’re her sister. Has she always been this demented?”

Yang’s lips twitched. “You should see her after she overdoses on sugar. She once claimed to be the Queen of Cookie Town and then demanded that we go out and actually build Cookie Town, so it wouldn’t just be a metaphor for her cookie addiction.”

“I can hear you.” Ruby folded her arms across her chest. “But I will allow you tag peasants to continue talking since there’s nothing you can do to catch me.”

There was a blur of motion, and Blake burst out of the foliage beside Ruby. The Faunus’s hand was a hair’s breadth from touching Ruby’s shoulder when the younger girl all but vanished, moving so swiftly that she was less a blur and more a streak of red. She reappeared on the ground not far from Weiss and Yang.

“Not bad,” Ruby said, nodding sagely and stroking her chin. “But alas, Blake, you’re no match for my awesome speediness.”

Blake sighed and gestured at Weiss and Yang. “You two could help, you know.”

“We could.” Yang chuckled. “But I figure that the moment we try we - surprise Weiss Attack!”

Weiss had no time to react as Yang grabbed her and simply threw her at Ruby. The leader of Team RWBY stared at the oncoming Weiss projectile and then ducked, letting Weiss soar overhead. It was only thanks to the heiress’s reflexes that she managed to twist to brace her feet against a tree trunk instead of hitting it face first.

“Yang!” Weiss snarled. “How dare you! Are you trying to kill me?”

“Relax, princess.” Yang smirked. “I didn’t throw you that hard. Your Aura totally would have protected you. Besides, I figured that Ruby would try to catch you.” She winked at Ruby. “I could see you thinking about it before ducking.”

“I’ll admit,” Ruby countered. “You almost had me.” She struck a pose. “But for the sake of winning tag, I’m afraid that I must harden my heart.” She turned to Weiss. “Sorry, Weiss, but if Yang throws you at me again, I’m going to have to dodge. Try not to die.”

“Wow,” Weiss drawled. “I just love this team’s approach to teamwork.”

“Technically,” Blake pointed out. “Yang throwing you at Ruby does count as teamwork.” She considered Gambol Shroud thoughtfully. “Yang, rather than throwing Weiss, how about we set up a Weiss-throwing slingshot using Gambol Shroud. If she uses her Glyphs to boost it, we might even be able to fling her at Ruby fast enough to tag her.”

“Cool... but what if Ruby dodges and Weiss hits the ground or something?”

Blake shrugged. “I’m prepared to accept the consequences of that.”

“Well, I’m not!” Weiss hissed. “Come up with a better plan that doesn’t involve using me as a projectile!”

“Spoilsport.” Yang cracked her knuckles. “Fine. Blake, spam clones. Enough of you might be able to swarm Ruby. Weiss, spam Glyphs. Focus on Glyphs that create slow zones or heavy zones. We don’t have to stop Ruby, just slow her down enough for us to catch her.”

“And what will you be doing during all of this?” Weiss asked.

“I’m going to be powering up.” Yang’s Semblance flared to life. “Weiss, how do you feel about blasting me with some Dust?”

“Oh, I can do that.” Weiss’s eyes gleamed. “I can definitely do that.”

In retrospect, Ruby thought, taunting her teammates and proclaiming herself the Queen of Tag Town while labelling them all Tag Peasants who should consider themselves lucky to live beneath her tyrannical heel might have been going too far. Oh, sure, she was almost invincible at tag, especially after her training with her Aunt Lightning and Averia on how to better utilise her speed, but Yang knew her better than anyone, and the blonde’s plan was actually really good.

Weiss had basically turned the training ground into a minefield of slow zones and heavy zones. Trying to move through those areas would be a huge mistake, and Weiss was skilled enough to keep them from hindering Yang and Blake too much. Meanwhile, dealing with one Blake wasn’t too bad, but there were now twenty of the Faunus chasing after her, all of them working in near perfect unison.

And then there was Yang.

People liked to focus on how Yang’s Semblance let her dish out more damage. And, yeah, Yang’s Semblance allowed her to go from hitting like a truck to hitting like artillery, but Yang’s Semblance didn’t just boost her strength. It boosted all of her physical abilities.

And Yang had spent the past several minutes getting blasted by Weiss.

Yang wasn’t as fast as Ruby, but she was way, way, way faster than normal. If Ruby had to guess, she’d say that Yang was moving at least triple her usual speed with increased agility to match. Combined with how well Yang knew her, that meant Yang wasn’t someone Ruby could ignore, but it was becoming increasingly hard to deal with Weiss and Blake and keep an eye on Yang at the same time.

Oh, and now Weiss was spamming speed Glyphs on Yang because clearly using Ember Celica to throw herself around still wasn’t enough.

Ruby ducked and then twisted to avoid a lunge from a pair of Blake’s clones before leaping over Yang’s oncoming form and then contorting herself in mid-air to evade Blake. She could easily have teleported, but they had all agreed that would defeat the purpose of the exercise. As Blake rushed over her, she formed another clone that grabbed Blake by the ankle and hurled her back at Ruby.

“Seriously?” Ruby yelped as she fired Crescent Rose at the ground to give her the boost she needed to dodge Blake’s rush only to have to use her weapon as a springboard to avoid Yang as the blonde shot toward her like a comet. “That was close!”

A slow zone began to form underneath her, and Ruby rushed to get clear, taking a brief detour to grab her weapon, before another trio of Blakes accosted her followed by Yang lunging at her ankles. Ruby was forced to jump, and Blake was there, using Gambol Shroud like a lasso in a bid to tie her up.

Ruby tucked herself into a ball, glad that her petite frame allowed her to dodge the attack, before she kicked off a branch and leapt high over the battlefield to give herself some breathing room. Of course, the ground beneath her began to glow, and she had to move again before the heavy zone Weiss was making could weigh her down.

“Not bad.” Ruby took a deep breath as her teammates regathered themselves. “You almost had me that time! But I am the Queen of Tag Town! I cannot be caught by mere Tag Peasants!” If she was going to go down, she’d go down swinging. “You can try all you like, but I shall emerged victorious!”

“Is there a reason that you’re carrying a tied-up Ruby over your head like a trophy, Yang?” Diana asked as she sat up to watch the group walk past. Basking was definitely enjoyable, but it was kind of rude to bask while asking someone a question. On the rock beside her, Strangles continued to enjoy the warm sunshine.

“We finally caught the Queen of Tag Town,” Yang replied. “So we have to celebrate.” She chuckled. “We’re going to get cleaned up and then head into town to grab lunch.”

“Oh!” Ruby’s eyes lit up. “Can we visit that new bakery while we’re there?” She squirmed. “They’ve got cookies and cakes and heaps of good stuff. At least, that’s what Pyrrha says. She and Team JNPR went there last week.”

“Sure.” Yang slung Ruby over her shoulder. “We wouldn’t want our queen to go hungry.”

Author’s Notes

Ruby is pretty damn good at tag even if she isn’t allowed to teleport. Still, it’s great training for the others and for her since it teaches her situational awareness and evasion while the others get to practice their tactics and teamwork.

KONOHA AKINORI APPRECIATION POST

Hi, this is Shai. Your resident Konoha enthusiast, here to report why Konoha Akinori is such an amazing player that boosts the “power” in the powerhouse that is Fukuroudani VBC.

MANGA SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT!

To people not that familiar, his stats are as follows:

3rd year Wing Spiker

Power - 2/5 Jumping - 4/5 Stamina - 3/5 Game Sense - 4/5 Technique - 4/5 Speed - 4/5

And surprisingly, he’s the third smallest player in the team! And in the usual line-up, he’s the second smallest. (Even Komi grew taller in the Nationals Arc yet Konoha stayed the same ha-ha!)

Anyway, so the starting/best rotation has Konoha in the back. Why is that? 

HOLY HECC DID YOU SEE IN THE LAST SCREENCAP? Konoha really received that! SUPER TIGHT RECEIVE OMGG. This was the winning receive!!! breathes ok I shall continue

A team is only good if its foundations are in place. Strong and steady. It’s something you can’t show off or be flashy with. It doesn’t help Konoha is a wing spiker-- a hitter type of position! 

And Konoha lacks in power, so he can’t be as powerful or flashy as his ace, Bokuto. But that’s fine! Because of Fukuroudani’s dynamic, they’re all about supporting their ace! No hard feelings there. I just really love Fukuroudani’s solid teamwork. Everything about them is just S O L I D -chef’s kiss-

And speaking of support, Konoha is one of THE best supporting players I’ve seen in action in the series. And Furudate gives him so much love. THANK YOU, FURUDATE. The hero of our generation.

To make up for his lack of powerful spikes and such, he’s trained with his teammates (especially the batch of him, Sarukui, Komi, and Washio) that shows his array of techniques. 

He used Nekoma’s game play style against them! (And Nekoma is a team all about support and receives for Kenma to do his thing. And it parallels Konoha as just an amazing of a support player-- you get the drift!). 

And because of that, he gets the title of “Mr. Jack of All Trades (Master of None)”. It makes me cackle every single time. It’s the curse of being the ordinary.

This is what happens when you have a top ace who gets all the attention. But Bokuto can bring out his best because there are players like Konoha with that outstanding support from the sidelines. He's average in the terms of the flashy things (spiking, serving, and blocking), but he excels in the things that are not obvious to the casual audience! That’s my defense for his character. c: 

When Bokuto is feeling the pressure, Fukuroudani is always on a mission to get him back on track. And as a fellow wing spiker, Konoha gets to shine this time but in a different way! 

And in these panels, it shows that Konoha is also capable of rebounds. Which is pretty tricky in sticky situations, but he does it to taunt Kuroo of all people (hahaha). He likes catching opponents off guard with his wide arsenal of techniques~!

One of the team’s strategies to take out the offense is through the setter. So when Akaashi is incapacitated, Konoha is able to do an effective toss to his teammates! A magnificent setter-caliber toss at that. So badass! 

Like because Konoha can’t handle Bokuto and likes being cheeky with him (lol), I figured he’d practice tossing with others instead. Konoha and Saru are basically BFFs, so I can see why he’d favor Saru over Bokuto. 

(Or more like, I think Konoha wants Akaashi to do all the tossing to Bokuto -wink wink-)

I SEE THEM AS KONARUTO & SARUSUKE HAHAHAHA HECC THEY’RE PARODYING KNB MY OTHER FAVE SERIES OR PRETTY MUCH ANY GENIUS CHARACTER IN SPORTS ANIME I CAN’T

HAHAHAHA KENMA YOU’VE DONE THE SAME THING TO AKAASHI IN YOUR MATCH. But yes, an additional thing that shows off Konoha’s gaming sense! He isn’t afraid to target the ace, therefore incapacitating him!

Konoha with his feints though daaang. Showing off his setter-like qualities yet again. GASP I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING WHILE TYPING THIS. Hear me out: I think Fukuroudani has (2) setters. 

The actual technical setter of the team (Akaashi), and another setter in Konoha who’s able to wander around the court more than Akaashi. 

Even in his stats, the most important in a setter (gaming sense, technique and speed) apply to both Konoha and Akaashi (both are 4/5 in those aspects)! No wonder why Fukuroudani is really such a formidable team hecc. _(:3JL_)_

Insert Konoha being a good senpai to Akaashi when it comes to dealing with Bokuto ahahhaha. 

In the second screencap, he wasn’t aware that Akaashi is having that internal crisis, but he’s still ready to fite Bokuto for him. (I think he takes pride in being a senpai and he actually protects the kouhai. It’s adorable ; u ;)

And speaking of Konoha and Akaashi, Akaashi himself relies on Konoha’s receives to get that good toss to Bokuto! And because Konoha has this role, it implies he has wicked good control in his receives. And that’d make or break any game hecc.

Hello! Maybe you have already receive such question but... Who is your favorite character in tw? And why?

Hi! Hi! It's okay, this is the first question of its kind heheheheh! (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ Hope you don't mind it being long though!

It's very hard for me to actually choose cause really all of the characters are just superb from their designs to their personalities and dialogues and even small gestures. The team really worked on every detail and I think it's why I was so pulled into this Fandom in the first place.

But since you ask so uwu-ly I shall answer to the best of my abilities lmao

I'll make it into categories cause these characters are my favourites for very different things

First off we have my bias, my one and only Red Eclipse Emperor,Riddle Rosehearts.

Funnily enough,Riddle was ranked the lowest when I first got into Twst cause every inch of him falls short (no pun intended) in my type of man lmao

I literally said; "He looks like a little brother character, Def not my taste"

Oh,how tables turn.

Riddle is my all time favourite because his story and conflict resonates with me alot. That fear of being excluded and not being able to control everything even when you give it your all hits home for me, especially the way Riddle clings to rules to patch up the wounds he had to endure along his childhood.

Of course I'm not nearly as troubled as he is, but I get it,you know? The way he just lets his frustration eat away at him because he doesn't want to seem weak or incompetent in front of his peers and mother is similar to me not wanting to look vulnerable to my family and friends. He also has this soft side that makes me want to hurl all my love to him 😩💖

My favourite in the aspect of character design has to go to Leona even when all I wanna do is just smack him square on the jaw every single time he comes up

I'll only say this once and that is Leona is just the most well designed Character throughout the whole game (in my very humble opinion ofc) I mean seriously he just looks gorgeous from his hair to the way his eyes turn this dull,green when he's upset or angry and the fact that his built is my ideal type is just 👌🏻👌🏻

I love how they made it so Leona has this rustic yet elegant feel to himself that's just so rarely done in anime,like you can actually feel the overbearingness of his arrogance and intimidation. And from a glance you can actually tell he's a Prince or of Royal blood from how richly coloured he is.

Just 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 to the team who worked on him! YA'LL DESERVE A DAMN AWARD 😤😤😤

Next is my favourite sunshine Kalim. I love this boy because he's just so genuinely wholesome. Usually characters like these are really hard for me to like cause they usually come off as pretentious to me but Kalim just nailed his way into my heart and now when I talk about the sun it's really just Kalim 😩✨

Jamil wins favourite voice because hot damn he takes chotto eroi to a whole new level. I have a voice kink (surprise surprise) and Jamil really shocked me with his voice and Its ironic cause in general terms he's my least favourite (no offense to his stans tho 👉🏻👈🏻) and I'm not familiar with his VA at all.

Again, I love all the boys in Twst because in the end they're very different with very unique aspects to their character build that makes me extremely envious as a writer and it doesn't necessarily mean the ones I listed out today are the only ones I'd simp over HAHAHAHA they're just the ones who's given me the biggest impact throughout the game.

Shall we Date? Wizardess Heart Part 30 - Rex Blanc Route

Wow, I am so disappointed and annoyed for Nox's route, they literally sacrificed proper development and focus on Nox to be shared with Rex because they want to have an alternate route kinda thing at the point where Nightmare comes to steal her away? So instead of accepting him as Nightmare and flying away with him, she flings his hand away and stays with Rex? Like wow, I'm not a big fan of Nox but I would be so mad if I was, because Rex is like getting double the screentime now since he took over nearly half of Nox's route and now he gets his own after that lol. Sigh. Hopefully Rex won't disappoint though. And I kinda hate that the heroine actually liked Nox but was disappointed that he was Nightmare and that's why her feelings for him will dwindle or whatever. Like, sure in real life, you'll have crushes you get over etc but it kinda hurts in this situation tbh, because I honestly felt that rejection towards Nox and I feel so bad for him right now. Like, I totally prefer it when the guys aside from the chosen route just treat her like a really important and good friend rather than actually showing any romantic feelings to interfere with her and her LI, so I think this is already shaping up to be disappointing loll.. Like, I'll admit that it's different and refreshing, but at the same time it's really uncomfortable? I don't really like how she likes Nox but is unable to be with him because she can't accept that he's the Phantom thief, so now it's kinda like Rex has to be the guy that cheers her up in order to get her in his own route? I just don't like it that the heroine liked someone else seriously before being with Rex later, especially since it's his rival Nox. Sure, it's normal in real life, but this is a game, and I don't like that Rex isn't the first choice when I chose his route. I guess I'm just being really picky right now though loll.

Honestly though, despite my annoyance, seeing Rex try so hard to win over the heroine is nice, because he's won over my heart already haha. I think he just has a nice way with his words to show how sweet and sincere everything he says is imo. I found it really heartwarming that Rex acknowledged that he could have done the whole changing the vial of memories etc by himself, but found it very comforting to have her beside him when he did it. Like, I don't want to call the heroine fickle, but dang did she get over Nox fast and start caring about not getting to work with Rex anymore when Klaus was going to break up the team. I guess she should thank Nox that they'll be together longer lol. The talk with Nox was kinda awkward but at the same time refreshing? It's good to know there's no hard feelings, but at the same time, it's awkward for the heroine that she's practically moved on to Rex already lol. Like, I don't blame her because Rex is honestly great, but yeah it's awkward lmao. Btw, Rex in his night class uniform looks so good! It's so cute how he's been hiding that he's a major sweet tooth haha. But omggg when he said this pancake is just like his love, saying that he's way too sweet so she better watch out lmaoo, he's so corny I love it hahahaha.

It's saddening that Randolph seems to still feel a lot of guilt over everything in the past. On the other hand, I'm glad the heroine is being more open and honest with her feelings and acknowledging that she probably does like Rex. He looked so happy, I couldn't help but cheer for him loll. I'm just gonna try and ignore that part where some random tried to pick the heroine up when she was going around with her "interesting hairstyle" where she had a loop on each side of her head, anyway, that scene was so unnecessary and silly. Seriously, I really do like Rex, but the route is kinda killing it right now because they're constantly trying to put Rex on this "pedestal" where he's so cool, forward and masculine, whereas the heroine is like this little girl that is less experienced so it feels exciting with him or whatever. Sometimes I honestly wonder whether she really likes him or she's really just flattered that someone so "cool" likes her and cares for her, so how could she not like him lol. Anyway, Rex definitely has an interesting sweet tooth, because it's not really the "whole" dessert that he likes, he really just likes sweet stuff. Like he said, he's not interested in pancakes itself, he's interested in all the sweet syrup, cream etc that provide the sweetness, and he can even eat sugar by itself! Maybe he just wants a sugar rush lol.

Well, it was obvious that Rex was gonna find out Nox is the Phantom thief with how unnatural the heroine was every time Rex linked Nox and the Phantom thief together, which is understandable since she can't lie, but wow, sometimes I'm just so amazed at how naive and silly the heroine can be even though she's supposed to be more "mature" and older now, like I can't believe she believed Rex's words about him possibly using her and her feelings to get to know who the Phantom thief was. Like hello heroine, he's liked you since forever, you didn't even act suspicious until recently, but he's liked you since the beginning, chased after you even after you rejected him etc, and YOU'RE the one crying over the fact that maybe he lied when you've been lying to him this whole time about Nox. You wanna think about his feelings before questioning his words? He's the one that probably feels so dumb that you guys have been taking him around in circles and hiding all this when he believed in you all. I'm not surprised he said all that to the heroine considering how hurt he must have felt since not only have they started dating recently, but Nox has always been a rival but good friend this whole time, and even then, I honestly don't think he was even that mean to her. So glad Nox laughed at the prospect of Rex lying about his feelings for her, like seriously lady, instead of focusing on how "hurt" you are, do you want to care about how hurt Rex actually is since he was the one being lied to this whole time? Like sure he's obviously not the usual Rex when it comes to talking about "justice", but ignore that for now and think about his feelings instead of just yours! Although the heroine has been annoying, I'm glad this allowed her to finally put her feelings for Nox down properly and focus on Rex.

Honestly, aside from saying Rex's back story is cliche, I'm not sure what else to say about it, because it was honestly really naive of him to believe in the culprit, and not have even done research on the guy they're capturing to know that he was lying. Like, I won't blame him for empathising with him, but he still should have realised that this was a criminal he was dealing with. Otherwise, I can understand why he's so adamant about this "justice" of his and not believing that criminals can have "reasons" since it's because of his naivety that his teacher/partner died. Seeing Rex come to terms with his partner's death and be able to let go of Nox and exercise proper judgement assessing the type of person Nox is and whether he's lying etc about why he's a phantom thief etc was pretty nice. It felt like he was finally not focusing on the emotional side and was actually thinking about what justice is to him. Totally unnecessary and corny for Rex to say that Nox can't steal the heroine blah blah though. And it ends~

Overall, Rex was okay. I honestly think the "common route" that we had for Rex and Nox in Nox's route was where he shined the most though. I think in this route, they were pushing Rex's supposedly more mature (compared to the heroine) side and his pushy love for her too much. Like, I really liked Rex before, but after like halfway into this route, I felt like he was very...arrogant in some senses, like when he would push his love on to the heroine a lot of the time even when it was obvious that she wasn't really ready yet. Like, the heroine was shown to be okay with it because it's Rex's route after all, but I honestly thought the way he said things to "show his feelings" made it seem pushy even though he was always like, he would wait. Anyway, minor gripes I guess but it was enough to turn me off lol. Otherwise, the heroine was quite annoying lol, especially when the whole "secret" about Nox came out. I think the route was too long for it's own good though, it felt really draggy. I guess the route wasn't bad, but I didn't like it either lol.

The day endeth .. and the desire to leave the sets is of no consequence .. leaving any situation is sad .. so is the work front, sad and unsatisfactory when leaving .. a bond of care and friendship matures as we strive for a common cause .. the betterment of our creativity in excelling what we may have been advised or contracted for ...  as also professionally to live up to the reason why we are called them .. its a family that cares for each other like no other .. the comfort the requirement .. that chair, those attendants on call .. the assistants to look after each and every detail of your work and prompting ,  helping out on situations that may have slipped your creative mind .. other than delivering your lines for you, they do all .. your hair , your make up, your food consumption, the respect for time informing delays or time breaks .. making it comfortable in the heat and diverting the cooling towards your overburdened costumes .. every little need, every little ...

Ah well .. they are just marvellous .. the crew and the team .. they build for you a castle a manor a private home within the premise of the sets and determine without any fuss or complain, that their artist is in good amicable surrounding .. at times they do far too much for you and it becomes embarrassing .. but do they must .. 

It takes a while ... but gradually the names become familiar .. the work they handle .. who to speak to when needed .. and most importantly who to speak to when the hunger pangs crave for that crispy, Pizza ..

A million hands jump up from no where to organise the very best, and within a short while the most delicious packaging arrives .. warm and fulfilling .. 

Thank you crew and team Dharma and team Brahmastra and team Ayan for the consideration .. and thank you Ranbir and Alia for your constant attention to the work ; supportive and meaningful .. your talent and credentials reflect on others .. on me .. and urge me to be better .. it is difficult when faced with your genius and ability, but I endeavour to keep up .. 

The rains pour down .. the long awaited monsoon is upon us .. the roads and the location starts to flood .. those drops of leakage from the roofs begin their journey into empty cans and buckets, to prevent the spread of the drops that percolate .. its pretty romantic in a way , the rain and the weather .. I have never asked or questioned why ; it just is .. the whiff of the coffee on set as some sip away the drop in energy, infectious even though you may not be a coffee freak .. that gentle hum of the portable cooling instrument as it glides through to bring down the trauma of heavy costuming .. that flurry of managers and ladies and gents in waiting, to fix help and tidy up your being as soon as the particular shot is over .. the minutest of detailing that they notice - that strand of hair out of place, the fold in the costume incorrect, the positions of the hand and body during the take and its continuity when its repeated from a different angle ..

That most affable director Ayan, considerate yet striving for the perfection that invades his sensibilities .. making the slightest of adjustments in modulation in movement in tone in look .. to enable the perfect shot  .. that earnest desire of dedication, and the strength of modelling yourself to furnish the tastes of the future generations, when they shall sit back and marvel at what they left behind for posterity ..

There is chatter of films and likes and dislikes .. of favourite actors the world over and their work .. of food and foodies .. of topics that concern language .. and the arts of general knowledge .. history and the sciences of the days gone by and the years ahead .. millions of people milling about, unknown to us but all working for the same cause - the film Brahmastra .. !!

Ranbir’s mother and family visit the set .. Neetu Singh a star in her own right and my leading lady in films .. of banter of days gone by .. of children and the wonder of grandchildren .. of home made eats and its sharing .. of just laughter and hilarity .. 

... and an entire battalion of workers all concentrating on some job or other, that is directly or indirectly connected to the final product .. nothing else matters .. within the four walls of the Studio floor that is all that transpires .. until you step out to the whole wild world and its time to fasten seat belts, “summon up the blood, stiffen the sinews” and ready oneself for the battle outside .. then it is just you and none other .. no attendants, no assistants running about you, no concerned crew and team ready to attend to ever beck and call .. nothing ..

Just yourself, your mind .. the replaying of the days’ work as you drive home .. and on doing so, a quiet spot in the house to just sit and ..

Many ask how we rewind and bring ourselves to some normalcy .. rewind ..? why must one rewind .. that was done and over .. move fast forward if you may please .. yet it does trouble .. that scene , that shot was it alright .. could it have been done better .. a change in attitude towards all that transpired .. all .. but in the end its just you in the ring .. screams and shouts of encouragement from beyond the ropes .. but within alone .. and the opponent .. ready to knock your head off .. and you taking and fighting it off to win to succeed ..

Its not easy to do that .. lasting those 3 rounds in the ring .. those rounds transporting you to several other rounds of life in the ring .. punching ducking blocking taking a hit straight on the jaw, and finding that weak spot in the opponent to deliver back what he gave ..

Takes guile , tact and a mind that plans and devises  .. the battle .. 

A battle that, let me warn you, may never end .. unlike the ending finally of those 3 gruelling rounds in the ring .. this round of life is eternal .. if not today, then tomorrow .. if not tomorrow then day after tomorrow .. and on .. the fight continues .. 

Hahahaha .. many ask when I shall retire and sit back .. !

Is that a designated routine .. a formality of life that needs to be applied .. rubbish ! Sit back from what .. what is that rocking chair beside a fireplace with the young grandchildren pulling your beard, going to do .. a momentary domestic pleasure .. sublime and filled with the joy of a ‘production line’ that shall bring continuity to your name and designation .. hopefully !!

I think this Xmas Winter Wonderland thingy started to become a thing whilst I was in Newcastle, and now everyone love going to the Xmas Wonderland when its Xmas. Of course I was not a fan because you know, its hot and crowded and not even 50% like how a Xmas wonderland would be like in Europe. But my sister wanted to go, so yes, we shall go.

Oh my word, guys, have you guys ever tried playing paintballs before?! Well, it was my first time! And it was initiated by one of my colleague, and most of us actually never play before. We were all abit scared to be honest because we heard bout the pain and all, but we still went because yolo. HAHA. It was also our first unofficial lab outing (and with a few other people we know from other labs), so its a rare outing really. The price was not exactly very cheap, but I’d say its pretty reasonable for the service and the amount of ammo you get, and the duration was good too. The paintball gun (can’t remember what they actually call it but ya) was actually quite heavy – some of my smaller size colleagues had to carry with both hands (cute! hahahaha) And it REALLY painful when the paintball hits you. It ain’t lie when they say they put the pain in the paintball. HAHA! But it was honestly SOOOO much fun, we really really bonded over the games, and we just had so much joy and laughters, we don’t even care about which team is winning or losing. It was all about the progress. It was so so much better than many of us expected, despite the pain, the blood, the bruises (that stayed for weeks), it was all worth it. Its easily one of the most fun day of my 2017. Thanks LPT for organising and coordinating everything, and thanks the rest for such a fun and great day.

Almost forgot when was the last time I met up with Hadz and it haven’t been easy since I work mon to fri and she work shift work. But best friends always make time for each other, aye? It means that everyone presses the play button to listen to SJ’s music and at the same time have fun and enjoy the music. As compared to the previous albums, we want to express our manly and mature side through this album. I guess female fans like SJ’s manly side more Q: For the comeback, what are the areas members have worked hard in? Who is responsible for which area? Hyuk: I put in a lot of effort in stage performance. Shindong hyung and I worked hard for the choreography while Donghae worked hard to compose our pre-release track Hae: I want to show everyone different music styles. Also, since Kyuhyun and Ryeowook are serving the army, we want to everyone to experience a different feeling so I hope that the song is able to inject a different mood and expectation from the other songs Hae: This song expresses the sadness of parting and it is a pre-release track which we have released as a gift. Q: What are the interesting things that happening during the album jacket shooting? How do the members feel taking a group cover photo after a long time? Teuk: Members really like joking around and we completed the shoot under a happy atmosphere Even though our shoot was about the sadness of parting for One More Chance, but it was outdoors and the weather was good, which contrasted with the sad mood. The jacket photos for Black Suit and One More Chance came out really well. Q: How is the standing order decided for the new album cover? Teuk: We decided through drawing lots. Heechul: We shot the reality show “SJ Returns” before our comeback. In the show, we were able to show a lot of sides which were never shown on broadcast. Heechul: But the sequence for anything is decided through drawing lots or the ladder game. We use random draws to decide shooting sequence, the sequence to get off work and decide who would clean up after eating so everyone really enjoyed the shoot. Q: There is a certain level of difficulty for the choreography. Are there any difficulties that you face while practicing? Teuk: For me, my legs will cramp when I dance for some time Hyuk: This choreography has a lot of leg movements and actually, in order for the stage to be cooler and to have a high degree of completion, everyone practiced really hard without skiving off. Q: “I Do” is a song written for the fans. Can you introduce the song? Teuk: The song illustrates the relationship between lovers like our relationship with ELF. The lovers meet at the place where the confession happened a year ago and proclaim their love once again. Teuk: This song expresses such feelings. This is a song full of love. When our fans hear this song, they can think of the day we met 12 years ago on 6th November 2005. Q: The response for SJ Returns is good. Are there any future plans for variety shows? Donghae: We started with SJ Returns and released an album after a long time, and so the members went through a lot of shootings together. Episode Three - “The World’s Smallest Violin, Playing Just For You” - Rebecka

Hey so....guess who we just got out? EMILY. It’s wild because she was so confident and strategic and that made for the perfect blindside. I feel like she was doing well until she thought she had solidified Johnny’s vote, that was a little messy. I hope she isn’t right about us losing challenges now. I think we can do well and hopefully pull through, if anything me and John are pretty solid on either side with Haley or with Johnny/Ryan. Now that Rhone is gone and I literally only know John I’m trying to cling to him a bit just because I feel like he has a stronger social standing. But we shall see!

I cannot believe someone called out Emily for liking our tribe better. I mean I don’t blame her, impala is great. But their tribe was safe last round literally bc they worked with us. Also I’m nervous about this switching tribe thing bc I love my tribe and I really don’t want to lose them hahaha. At least I don’t have to worry about Emily and Bryan later down the road. But Emily did seem like someone I wanted to work with :/ oh well Ok everyone I talk to on this tribe loves it and ned even took it as far as saying he wants all of us at final 6. I’m sorry but like, no Hahahaha. When we merge, I will rely on some of these relationships (ned, Chris and Dane) but I will work with others, I can’t just stick with my start up tribe hahaha

Fatum's tribal went a lot better than expected. Now that Emily's out of the picture, I'm not as concerned about Bryan flipping. What I AM concerned about is the possibility of Fauna and Onion teaming up against us, because if the questions from the last tribal are any indication, it sounds like people aren't too happy about our winning streak. As Storymaster, Chris chose to let everyone decide if they want to mutiny. I think everyone on our tribe is staying, but I imagined a horrible scenario where the entire Onion tribe mutinied to Fauna and the tribes were suddenly 10-6. Please no.

Wow. Tribal went fantastic. I had my formal last night and was completely blackout during tribal council, so I didn't fully wrap my head around what was happening until right now, and THANK GOD IT HAPPENED!! Emily was playing too hard, and not only that, but the five of us were very together on what was happening, which is good for team cohesion. I am going HAM on the next immunity challenge because I do not wanna go back to tribal council, but I know it's bound to happen again. I definitely think the next vote is going to be between Nicole and Haley, in terms of the names being thrown out there, but without a doubt, I am not voting out Haley. I need to bring her rookie-try hard ass to the merge, because I think I've officially found someone who is going to be a bigger target come merge than I would ever be, because I somehow always seem to be that target, and to be quite honest here, I'm fairly confident in making merge now that I've made it through one tribal. I have this very serious goal this round to have an edgic of MOR2. I need to not be under the radar, because obviously a winner is never under the radar, but I really need to be low-key this round. I didn't take any heat in particular last round, but Ryan was a bit confused as to why I was agreeing to vote for him, and the good part is that he was saying he was scared because he didn't wanna expose our relationship, so he can just be saying that, or he can actually mean it. I need to just lay low and really hope we don't go to tribal, and I don't get selected to go a tribal council. I want to quietly look for the idol, by myself, and hope to make progress, while not being super communicative in hopes for the best. I'm playing in a risky reward challenge, and I think I'm not gonna try too hard in the challenge, since it's all about knocking people out of the challenge, unless I get later in the challenge and it's advantageous for me. I don't want to make those moves against anyone, so we'll see what happens since that's an auto target on my back if I play that challenge a bit poorly. We'll see what happens.

Ok me and Bryan are working together without Chris. I don’t know if Chris knows I know. I really thought I could trust Chris but that’s shady that he messaged Bryan (obvs meaning to send it elsewhere) about how he told me and Bryan to not do 13. It makes me want to try 13 anyway. I am hoping he meant it for his confessional chat rather than another castaway. I would hate to feel like the entire tribe is working against me

Also going back to earlier, I’m pissed bran won. He used a movie poster and like 4 edits on photoshop whereas I made my flag from scratch and I only lost by 5 points. I came so close compared to the other submissions and I just worked so hard on it 

Ok so I smoothed things over with Chris and with Bryan and I think I can now work with both of them in this idol hunt. I just really want to find it bc I find idols so rarely :( I think since we haven’t been in trouble yet, paranoia is just taking over some of this tribe. I want to believe that Chris was just telling his confessional chat and that he lied to Bryan about working with me to maximize his chances of finding the idol. It’s a great plan, I don’t blame him for it. But a small part of me worries he is working with someone else on the tribe against me and Bryan. I know it wouldn’t be ned. The more we talk, the more we have in common. I really see us going far together. I haven’t spoken to autumn since day 1 in one world so it could very well likely be her or even Dane. Just bc he’s on so infrequently and he doesn’t say much when he is online. But a majority part of me is saying that Chris meant to make it a confessional.

Alright so a lot has happened. Ned found half of an idol so I HOPE we’re able to find this other half after immunity results. Autumn, Ned, Dane, and myself have officially formed our 4some. I fucked up by making Bryan something NOT meant for him. I basically said I was using Sam and Bryan. I think I recovered with Sam but Bryan definitely doesn’t trust me. Regardless we can split votes 2-2-2 if needed. My tribe volunteered me to compete in the challenge... That was NOT the plan. I do not want to be the guy everyone looks to for challenges because then I become Joe Anglim. And I don’t want to be Joe Anglim. But I beat Johnny so I’m safe. I hope I beat BDC cause if so, Johnny is taking me to his tribe to vote with him at tribal. This’ll be my Opportunity to gain some trust with them for the inevitable swap. 

I'm so broken apart by what happened this round. I honestly love playing, since it's going to be the most survivor-like experience I can possibly get, and I love getting to know people and play the game and be a power player, but I can't do that if I'm getting voted out third. So to start why I'm so upset, let's rewind to last night. I decided to volunteer to compete in the immunity challenge for my tribe. I know I'm a pretty decent competitor, and I really really thought I had a chance at winning immunity this round, but that clearly isn't what happened. I am fairly confident in my challenge skills, but once I'm ready to compete, Owen tells me that we'll be competing in a logic puzzle..................... For anyone who doesn't know, logic puzzles are absolutely the worst thing to ever happen to me ever, I literally take nine hours to do the simple ones, so this was just death. I actually really honed in on the challenge, but couldn't come out with a W. I was prepared for me, as the losing captain, to choose someone from the winning tribe to win to bring to tribal with me, and I was going to pick Jake, but OF COURSE the twists keep changing every round, which is getting more and more annoying to deal with, but I'm rolling with it. My thought process was that I was either going to have to choose between the "stoners" (john haley ryan me) or the vets on our tribe, which is Nicole Ryan Haley me, and I basically chose the stoners to side with since I don't have an alliance chat with the vets, and I didn't want shit blowing up if I chose Haley. The biggest reason John was off the table was because the names going around last round were everyone except him and I, so I just wanted as many people to potentially get voted for to be up for eviction with me.

As for what I'm thinking for this vote.... i'm tripping out a little bit now that it's been announced. I told Nicole that I am the reason she's up to be voted out, because i wanted to be transparent. I figured lying about it doesn't really help the situation this round. When it comes down to who I'm voting for. I'm locking in Nicole because i can't vote for Ryan. I know that Ryan and Haley are never going to vote for me, and I'm hoping John wouldn't vote for me, but now I'm hearing a few other things that are making me a bit disappointed with him, where John wants to keep Nicole, but says he won't vote for Ryan or I. This is all according to Haley. I think I'm going to have a knot in my stomach until tribal council happens, and I'm tip toeing on the idea of telling Haley I have a half of an idol, but I'm thinking that I'll probably find another half very soon, so I'm just trying to hold onto the fact that I can have a completely secret idol, while consistently telling people where to search, and me knowing that I can't possibly have found something, when in all reality, I've got a half an idol and I'm being very cautious about it. What some people AREN'T being cautious about is how much they tell Haley. I trust that Haley wants to work with me very well, I'm not questioning that, but I am questioning how smart that girl is. She seems very eager, which is good, but she told me that SHE and NICOLE both have halves of idols to where I'm like WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK OWEN WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU GIVING AWAY THIS MANY HALVES!?!!?? The good thing is that I know where three of them are, and that's because Haley told me. Once Haley knows something, everyone knows. I'm being good at keeping my mouth shut this time around :)

Ok I’m glad we won the challenge. But how imperium stands right now I think if we do go to a vote it will be a 3 to 3 vote with me, Sam and Ned against Chris, autumn, and Dane or 4 to 2 with me, Sam, Ned, and Dane against Chris and autumn.

Okay so I am about to single handedly make a blindside happen at tribal, alongside the help of Haley. I went on call with Haley, and told her I had a half an idol, which wasn't my first choice of things I wanted to do, due to my traumatic idol PTSD from past games, but I took a different route by telling Haley, and I made a pretty ingenious plan to get me into the best position on this tribe as possible. Step 1: Get Haley to give me her other half of the idol. (DONE) Step 2: Tell Haley that it's okay to vote for me at tribal, and that it's going to be 3 votes for me, 2 votes for Nicole (DONE) Step 3: Watch the blindside unfold. Step 4: Do damage control with John. Let Ryan be mad at John and Haley for voting for me, let John have to apologize for voting for me, and me play victim and try to really rebuild the strength of our relationships. And then after that, make sure that John and Ryan are the ones at odds with each other, while me getting John back on my side, and putting me back in the driver's seat. I know that this is going to put an insane target on my back when it gets to later in the game, and I'm going to be the guy who had a good idol play in the third round, and I'm going to be the guy that's like "he found the idol once, he can probably find one again" so I'm going to have to be real tricky with getting to merge, because I think the target is going to be on my back a lot more now than it would have ever been this early in the game, but I'll just have to throw caution to the wind and really come up with some shit and hope for the best. I did not want to have to play this hard this early, but it's happening :/ I need a swap soon. I would LOVE for us to go to tribal one more time before we swapped, to vote out John, and then Haley, Ryan and I all make it to a swap, to where I need to build some super strong relationships with some people. Haley ratted out John so much to me in the midst of this whole thing, and that Nicole and John are trying to vote for me this round, and John is going to say some snarky shit like "There's only room for one John." I'm torn on when I'm going to use the "throw haley under the bus" card, but I'm not quite there yet. I know it's going to come eventually, because that girl is playing very well very hard and very early in this game, so it'll be too tough to tell. This is a very productive round for my game. If only this was a merge tribal council this was happening at, I'd be making a winning move here, but it's cool. So it's been a lot more calm now that we won the last two challenge which is nice although there was some drama picking team captain, I thought Rebecka was getting close with Bran but them fighting over Bran being captain or not showed that Rebecka isn't with him.

And I'm kinda worried about her cus I know Julia and her have some kind of connection now, I also think she's doing anything she can to get back into good graces. Like when I said I was doing my final project yesterday she PMd me saying that I could do it and she believed in me and shit which is nice and myabe that's her being genuine but she wasn't that talkative until she realized she was on the bottom so hmmm I feel like she might just be trying to get me to trust her now. But hunny I don't buy it, you're a threat. I don't trust you and if we ever swapped tribes and it was just you and me on a new tribe I already know you'd try to get my ass out. So i'ma strike first. Idk if we're gonna tribe swap next round or not but if we don't and we lose the challenge I am pushing hard for Rebecka to go. She is a threat to me and her torch needs to be snuffed.

Things are finally getting wild. I brought together my two alliances to form the Kids Next Door, an alliance consisting of Chris, Autumn, Dane, and myself. I've also been forming better relationships with Sam and Bryan, because it's looking pretty likely that we'll end up swapping soon- and I genuinely like them both. Like, if we ended up as the final 6, I'd be incredibly happy. Chris also screwed up and sent Bryan a message that was meant for Autumn and me, and Bryan went and told me about it- so I'm hoping he trusts me enough to give me information in case we ever lose. The only person I haven't talked strategy with is Sam, so it feels like we're both walking on thin ice trying to avoid mentioning the elephant in the room: that she betrayed me once, and we'd LIKE to work together, but we don't know if it's possible to completely trust one another given our history. Our tribe is a mess and very sloppy you never know where people heads are at you get told one thing one minute and next it's a whole new thing. Ok so there's officially two alliances within Imperium- one with Dane and one without him lol. Ned, Chris, and I are the closest so we're Mystery Inc since I said our tribe feels a lot like Scooby Doo. We believe the three of us are Fred, Shaggy, and Daphne while Dane, Sam, and Bryan are Scooby, Velma, and Scrappy. Honestly I can't unsee it and that alliance could highkey go all the way because no one really picks up on it. The one with Dane is Kids Next Door based off of Codename Kids Next Door haha; Ned is No. 1, Dane is No. 3, Chris is No. 4, and I'm No. 5 (we've given Owen No. 2 lmao). I'm so annoyed, but if this works, it may be one of the biggest early moves I've ever made. First off.... the confessional from earlier. It was a genius idea, but of course our tribe's village idiot fucks it up yet again (dull) So OF COURSE (surprise surprise) Haley tells Ryan about the idol, which means that our cover is blown, Ryan is mad I didn't tell him, and now Haley is "telling" me she is 100% voting for Nicole. I don't trust Haley for shit, so I run to John because I've just gotta get him 100% on my side to make sure that he is going to be voting to keep me, and he knows that he can use me in the future, and that even though he loves Nicole, he's gotta trust me. I tell John that Haley gave me her half of the idol, and that I've got the whole thing. I told John that if he doesn't tell anyone that he knows about my idol, it gives us a lot of wiggle room and we can figure out how Haley is going to use her knowing about my idol to her advantage, and we can just out her more as a snake than she has been for the first three rounds of this game. John also told me that Nicole gave her half of the idol to John, since she is so confident she is being voted out, so now Haley has nothing (thank the lord), i've got a full one, and John has a half, which can turn into a whole very very soon since apparently these things are dumb easy to find. (Note: I told John that if I found another half, I'd give it to him, but there's no way in fucking hell I'm giving up a half an idol, are you fucking kidding me? The only way I'd give it to him is if I had to do something dumb, publicly, to obtain the idol... Then I'd give it to John *eyeroll*) Nicole and John both promised me I'm not being fucked with, and that I'm a good guy and this isn't some master blindside, and if they're correct, then we're going to have four stoners here after tribal council, and our alliance of four is what is going to remain. Haven’t written anything for the DCEU fandom in a long while but I thought we could perhaps pool our brains together for a lark. The one thing I’ve learnt from lurking in the Star Wars fandom is that paying close attention to the foreign language trailers may yield interesting things in an age where the film market is global - studios understandably find it very hard to keep track of who knows what in what language. Now, I don’t think we will find any spoilers - I feel like Chris Terrio's early interviews and the Akira Kurosawa lead would be far better as an avenue for hungry fans to pursue - but I needed a break from work and to revive my withering language skills, so here are my observations from watching non-English Justice League trailers. When Bruce speaks of the threat and Diana answers that it’s already here, the feminine is used. Why? I entertained thoughts of them referring to Ciaran Hinds (Edward Rochester/Frederick Wentworth and therefore ultimate literary romantic hero of all time) in the feminine, but this could be an error in translation. Cue how the trailer guys aren’t the same as the filmmaking guys, and how we know that Zack isn’t checking all these marketing shots as furiously as he did for BvS. Is she talking about the Steppenwolf threat then? Or...?

“Maybe temporary” becomes “This is evidently hard” or maybe “this is evidently a trial” when Jim tells Bruce it’s good to see him working with others again

I was hoping to pick up on the possible lead from the French version, but they used the neutral pronoun for it, so maybe the French translation is wrong. I wonder what’s the case in German, or maybe in the other Romance languages...

Yay all the names in Chinese!! Although it makes me sad that Superman is called 超人, whilst every other character gets to have a 侠 in their name

Which matters in Chinese because that word tells the reader that these characters are heroes of a legendary status, possibly implying they have extremely moral codes of honour

Instead of Justice For All, which was translated more or less literally in the French version (Justice Pour Tous), we have 正义得以伸张 which more or less means justice can prevail 

The nuance in “I dig it” is lost in Chinese but “Maybe temporary” remains that way

“Shall we” is becomes “开战吧”, which I would translate as “let’s begin fighting” - not quite a command, because of the way that is phrased in Chinese, but I am missing the nuance in the word “we” being uttered (you can drop pronouns in Chinese)

The Chinese subtitles actually cleave to the English far closer than the French did, which I thought was surprising given how far apart Chinese and English are as languages compared to French and English, but what have you, well done on the subbers

Disclaimer: my Japanese is really rusty and I was never one for reading Kanji, so do forgive my mistakes in translation

“超人たち” is used in place of “the others”, which may be a reference to all the other JL members being actually superpowered, or may also work as a reference to how they are building on Superman’s legacy (since Superman is 超人 and the translation of the whole phrase would be something like the ones with Superman)

OF COURSE Barry uses 僕 (boku) to refer to himself, which fits nicely in with establishing him as the youngest and least mature of the group

“You’re the Batman?” is unfortunately just “Batman?”, which makes me laugh a little because I’m reminded of those sketches about his secret identity, but I’m also reminded of how much attention to context is required when speaking Japanese

“It has to” becomes “(the age of heroes) starts now”, which makes Bruce sound more active

Bruce’s response to the question of his superpowers is “金持ちだ”, which can be translated as “Wealth” or the original “I’m rich”

“Justice For All” becomes “超人集合”, which would suggest they are not refering to Superman per se but really just speaking about the League coming together, with no reference to justice (“正義”)

Incidentally the Justice League is a name that has been rendered in Katakana as opposed to Kanji, which to my mind rather draws attention to the comics tradition in Japan and how this is very obviously to them a foreign import

Bruce’s “My turn” becomes “覚悟しろ”, which does not mean the same thing but translates to “Get ready”

Diana’s “Shall we?” becomes “始める?”, which can be translated to “Shall we begin?” but again the fact that you can drop subject-pronouns all together in Japanese misses the significance of this being a TEAM effort

Although this is immediately rectified when Jim comments on Bruce working with in a team, because the word used is 仲間 (nakama) as opposed to 友達 (tomodachi), which alludes to them having the same mission and purpose (whereas the latter would indicate that they are actually friends who share personal intimacy)

As soon as the cast was revealed, it was so exciting! I started looking around, and I really feel like I have a strong tribe. I can't wait to get to know people, hear how they think about the game... and I also hope that I'm able to build some strong bonds, too! My greatest fear in this game is probably getting voted out first. So as long as it isn't me...

Before the challenge I was added into an alliance group with sierra, cormac, and john later entitled "oh, worm?" i also spoke a bit to stephen who congratulated me on not being silent and still being a newbie. I volunteered for the bamboo chopping challenge and got too sweaty and the cup slipped off my finger at eight minutes. However, I did make a little bond with the people I participated with, and the host *didn't* say we could potentially make an alliance with each other, which I then hinted at. Nobody said anything about it, but it's not... not a possibility.

Alright, let's get into it. I am getting good vibes from Joseph right off the bat. I feel like him and I are going to get along swimmingly throughout the competition. I think Ellie believes that we have an alliance straight off that bat, but I won't forget how she tried to snake me out. So, I will be cautious of her at best. Other than that, Dylan C. is pretty cool and I am excited to play with them again which is wild. That's like back to my ORG origins right there. I think our tribe is going to kill the challenge, but I had to give up what I wanted to do because someone can't read apparently. But, c'est la vie. I'll try my best with winterbells but I cannot guarantee I'll do well

Well I joined the group later, wasnt able to chat due to the time difference. No one approached me with a private chat except for cormac, So atleast I know one person made the effort.

I spoke to Stephen, since we were teamed up for the same portion of the challenge. seemed like I would have connected with him. But I dont know why, he doesnt seem very chatty with me. Since he is the only other one with a big time difference, Im hoping he aint gona use that to try and make me boot number one. 

I am gona try and see if I can touch base with jack, he was nice and accommodating towards me for the challenge. Hopefully il be able to connect with him

Ok, so i think i made an alliance last night? I figured having an alliance of at least half the tribe would be a safe move. I’m honestly fearful it’s just gonna blow up in my face somehow but that’s just the anxiety talking hahahaha. TimmyMy arms hurt!! That challenge was a lot, but I’m shocked I lasted for 2 hours. I knew I couldn’t beat Maynor because he’s amazing at endurance comps. I know I’m good at them but i am able to recognize when someone is better than me at something. During the challenge Zoe proposed a cross tribal alliance between me, her, Dylan C, and Maynor and honestly I’m here for it.

Obviously I’m going to work with Maynor, so being able to be in an alliance with him that i didn’t have to make is so convenient. Today I’ll spend time talking to people and making connections, but I hope for now I showed that I can be helpful in challenges even though I didn’t win.

I spent my morning playing Winterbells which is not the most fun experience. However, I do feel confident that I'll carry this for the tribe! Besides that, I've reached out to Keith and Sierra from the other tribe. Keith sort of gives me weird vibes and he isn't the most entertaining to talk to. I have to manage somehow though. Luckily, I'm not on his tribe for the time being. Sierra seems really sweet. I want to see if I can work with her since she also seems nice and active. Those are good ally traits. Also Kieran messaged me today. And his second message to me was asking me if any alliances were made yet. I mean wig. But don't be a crackhead! It's only day 2 with no tribe calls. That's kind of crackhead behavior. I'm obsessed, but I do hope that means that he doesn't shoot himself in the foot. I'll keep my distance for the time being

Keith is telling me that people on his tribe are not messaging him which is not a good sign. So, I don't want him as an ally if he's already going to be the social pariah of his tribe

According to Ellie, she got herself in a 4 person cross tribal alliance with Cormac, Sierra, and Joseph. My threat alert is already on high. An alliance that I'm not a part of is an alliance that is a threat. She says that it was Cormac's idea and that he is being "overly strategic." I'm instantly getting bad vibes from him. He has got to go before he can cause any more damage. My connection with Ellie is already proving fruitful. I hope I can harvest at some point

I finally did it. I've messaged everyone in this game. I blame Jay that I have to talk to all these people. It's too much for my small brain. I do not get good vibes from Cormac at all. I think he's a threat to my game for sure. Hopefully, the other tribe sees his bad vibes and take him out. Otherwise, I'll have to do it myself

I'm feeling pretty good about where I am in the game right now. I have a few different alliances, which puts me in a pretty good spot in terms of navigating the game at this point in time. I feel closest right now to John and Cormac -- both of whom are in two of my alliances and both of whom have approached me for a final two. I've taken a page from Rob Cesternino and Stephen Fishbach's book and said yes to anyone who approaches me with an alliance. However, right now I'm definitely sticking with my first one over anyone else -- Cormac, Zoe, John and myself. We added Keith as a fifth to have a majority, too... but the four is where it's at for me!

Watching them like an owl to a mouse. Snow has turned black beneath my toe nails. Is this a sign from the Gods above? Those retched beings who guide me? Yes, must be. My eyes widen. They must be struck down like sandpaper to wood. Dice are in my pocket. I am ready to roll my numbers. Two fours roll out into the snow pile. I do not know these numbers. Unfamiliar to my mind. I am stranded in Iceland marooned on a tundra. This bloody tribe has only built a flimsy shack in the past twenty-four hours. Utter blasphemy. Tears roll down my rigid face at the thought of sleeping another night out here. Last moon cycle I huddled up next to Zoe and Jonathan. Our body heat kept us warm. He has been off outside the shack in the middle of the night humming like a mad man. Ridiculous behavior unfit for the royalty that lied within the shack’s walls heaped up like a pile of ash. His mouth uttering obscene things. Jack often rambles about the craziest affairs. How his mother was born in Russia. Her heritage in Romania. How his cousin once cut a piece of his ankle off in a mud fight. Jack was insane. Zoe and I often spoke of this in the shack. Ah! Too simpleton of a name. Shack. Makes me want to puke. I stood in the center of the shelter, spun around ten times in a row, shouted for joyous applause and then sat back down. My closest allies sit at the front of the long table with me. We throw food at Jack on occasion. “Oh, ha. Ha. Yes! Why my darling do you speak of me?” Justin started to fall of his chair. “I did not say a thing Cormac! Please don’t throw the gorgeous rotten tomato at my body again!” I am furious! Purple faced! “How dare you! You are from Spain! Timmy is hiding there and you refuse to tell me! Take him away!” Spit drools down my chin. John grabs Justin by the ribcage and drags him out of the marble hall. “My week is ruined now you insulant foolish people! All except you my dears.” I turn to Zoe and Sierra to compete in our secret handshake. After which I stand a top the long table to proclaim my frustrations. “Find Timmy! Bring him to me in one piece! Go now! Hurry! My belly can’t wait much longer!” God am I full. Stuffing was thick this morning. Raffy must have put extra butter in the food again.

So, Bitch is a little scared. I didn’t preform well but I was at a debate tournament. Also if we’ve learned anything from my last game it’s that I’m good with persuasion so I’m asking around to get names and Kieran hasn’t really been social or a help in challenges so I’m leaning towards that choice but we shall see

Its been two days since cup challenge and my arms are still kinda sore. Unloading the truck yesterday was not fun at all. But im glad that my hard effort helped us win immunity. Everyone else dod amazing in their parts. I really like my tribe. Im currently talking to Zoe, Cormac (think i misspelled it, im sorry) and Stephen. Hopefully im good socially that im not an easy out. I need to continue on my idol search

I got chosen to participate in Joseph's and Ellie's idol hunts. I am very grateful for the position because it means, out of everyone, they got the best vibes from me. This is a good sign that my social game is carrying me. Hopefully that means I can trust them later. I gave Ellie the advantage path because I plan on working with her in the future, so it'd be best if I had an advantage on my side. Since I do not really talk to Joseph but like him, I gave him a dead end. Better than getting a disadvantage in my opinion. I cannot believe we lost the challenge, but I guess I should believe considering that people didn't seem to try or care. It frustrates me that Ellie and Kieran did not even try on the challenge. That is just so ugly. My vote will probably go to Kieran because he's barely active whereas Ellie is. Plus, I want to use Ellie as my ally for the future. Let's see how that goes. I think the group consensus will be Kieran as Ellie and Justin both have told me so.

oh my god my plan worked. not only did we win, but i didn’t get the clue. i DEFINITELY did not want that target on my back, especially this early. but the downside of all of this is that i seriously don’t know who we would go after if we lose the next challenge, so that’s great. love that.

Frivolous swirls of insanity encompass my legs. They run where I tell them not to go, they climb where I dare not go. Storms are a brew in the far horizon. Delightful beckons to the ship’s quarters. Out on this dangerous sea lies two heartfelt apologies. Maynor has come to me in rags. Sweat, mucky, like a swine before dinner time. Slop to the finest hour. I have just caught word that Sierra may have former allegiances to the British crown. Here on our swamp ship of misfits we do not find the posh so delectable. Timmy is still beyond the narrow ocean hiding with his mystical forces. My greatest foe, my closest lover. Two woven in with the other. My chair is plastered with the skulls of those come to perish. Eye sockets whirling with squirming worms. “I thought you knew what I wanted Maynor! I want Timmy’s head on a platter! Get out of my sight before I have to bring Keith into my bedchambers to whip you again! Ten lashes for each word spoken against me!” Maynor retreats off into the underbelly of my ship. “Come here my love, my sweet seashell.” Zoe draws herself behind my shoulder and rolls out a scroll of activity. “Sierra was Timmy’s long-lost lover. I have seen it in my prophesies at sunrise. She knows Maynor from a past life and both of the Dylan folk!” Zoe gasps at the pure horror of her own revelation. I spit out my roast mutton in agony. A bone is stuck in my throat. “I’m choking on my own dispositions!” 

Salt spreads through my open mouth as I stare gaping at the dark sea. Where will this lead our ship? Will a betrayal bubble from below the surface? Will Davy Jones come to imprison me in his locker? Only blood, time, and friction will show the path ahead.

Gameplay analysis: 

From day one I made sure to message every single person. This would make sure I was in on that first batch of important alliances. 

By doing so Joseph contacted me and brought Ellie + Sierra into a cross-tribal alliance. 

The Worms Alliance consisted of a solid four with myself, Zoe, John, and Sierra.

This made sure I was inside the vote decisions. 

Then I made sure to solidify my alliances with Sierra and Zoe to be made stronger. 

The Frozen Five happened without my knowing. I believe Zoe invited me. This only added Keith to the equation who we need for a majority. 

Then I caught word Sierra already knew Maynor, Timmy, and Dylan from past games. This meant that I had to now connect with Maynor more so he could recommend me to Sierra. He said he had not spoken to her yet but that could be a lie. 

Raffy seems like someone I could drag into our numbers at a swap. Our cross-tribal alliance makes things sweeter. 

I’m trying to pull a Noura so I can be drug into the merge but at the same time engaging in forward game chat with Zoe, Sierra, and John as to not seem like a drifter. 

Right now I am trying to pull Keith closer to me. Jack is in outer space. We don’t know where he is. 

So in Melrakki I am in on the majority, core, and inner workings. 

Jack is on the outs. Maynor might be in cahoots with Sierra. Stephen has not made strong connections yet. 

Kieran, Dylan R, and Timmy are not speaking with me yet. Odd considering we could swap at any time. I need their numbers on my side. 

I shared the clue in One World to put the target off my back and give everyone equal opportunity. I do not want the idol so it works in my favor. We shall see how the next challenge goes.

I made a nice cross-streams alliance with Elle, cormac, and Sierra. I didn’t get to the idol. Poopy. But I have some ideas in the works. But we need to win at least one immunity before I try to get any threats out. Kieran is almost definitely going home. Tonight at tribal, I plan on voting for raffy, because nobody else will. And I don’t want him to feel too safe. Throw some paranoia at him and then I might convince him to join an alliance with me. We shall see.

Ellie is telling me how she's bonding with Zoe over being the only two girls on this tribe. I told her that she should include me in their little alliance that will no doubt be formed between them. Ellie is looking to be more and more of a social threat. I need to keep her close, otherwise I might find myself on the other side of a majority alliance following her.

So, my tribe is pretty chill. I don't really have anything negative to say about anyone thus far. Besides Raffy kinda gives me annoying vibes. Not sure why, but something about him just annoys me. Other than that, Timmy and I get along pretty well, and I can see myself aligning with him in the future. Ellie as well I vibe with pretty good. Everyone else is pretty meh as of now. As of now, I'm only building connects and feeling the vibes of the others. With that, I want to take out the people I'm least connected to, so that I know what's up with everyone. This might be because I find him kinda annoying, but I want Raffy out soon. He definitely is a talker, and I feel like he will try to take my niche in game of being connected with everyone. However, I think it is too early to go at him since I don't want to call the shots too early, and I'm sure people will object to that as the first vote. So for the first tribal, I want to vote out a person who is least connected to everyone to make the tribe more unified, and make sure I'm not the first one out. That person being Kieran. Everyone I have talked to has said his name, so I'm going along cuz that is not my name. Plus, he barely talks to me too so I don't care.

It seems that everyone is good with voting Kieran, unless I am getting blindsided which would not be cute. However, I believe that this tribe won't be messy the very first tribal council.

Keith is so desperate to pry information from Ellie and I about tribal council. Like you do not have to know nor do you have to care. He needs to be careful because his prying nature can give off bad vibes to certain people. Though he did tell Ellie that Stephen seems to be on the outs with his tribe.

Justin just came to me thinking I was in his tribe when in fact we are on different tribes. His tribe is going to council tonight but I'm safe. He thinks we are voting together when I don't even have his vote! Said as long as we stuck together tonight we should be ok. He is going to gasp when he realizes I am not on his tribe! I can't get a read on whether or not he has aligned with other people, and if he ends up getting an idol clue I'm not sure whether or not I'd be able to pull him in, based on a super short conversation we had during the bamboo chopping challenge about aligning after merge.
